My Yoga journey began following the teachings of Satyananda Yoga at the Anahata Retreat Centre in Golden Bay. In 2001, I completed a certificate in yoga studies at the Bihar School of Yoga. I lived in the Satyananda Ashram for 5 months with full immersion into the yogic lifestyle before completing further training and retreats with Satyananda Yoga.

I have received teacher’s training and mentorship with Susan Allen, one of New Zealand’s most experienced yoga teachers, as well as teaching at her studio, Yoga Ground Wānaka, and on her yoga and meditation retreats. I have attended at least 50 week long meditation retreats and continue to receive regular training in this lineage. I have an interest in personal healing and integration work and continue to explore and study many eastern and western modalities in this field, to support both myself and help me better support my clients.
